Our People

Staff
We believe that it is the people within the companies that are the most important asset, having the commitment and drive necessary to deliver a successful, quality contract on time, safely and to budget.
The company is formed by experienced civil engineering personnel capable of undertaking and managing contracts from £5k to £10m.

Southbay will provide a complete main contractor service and will undertake the role of principal contractor as required.

Apprenticeships
Southbay prides itself on investing in young people; we regularly operate work experience placements for students in both the office and site environment. Southbay also sponsor students to carry out apprenticeships in the construction industry, thus giving them site experience as well as an academic education.

Labour
A select number of tradesmen, time served in their profession, are directly employed and supervised by Site Foremen.

The majority of our works will be undertaken by our direct labour force providing greater flexibility and ensuring quality.

Select subcontractors will be employed on a project specific basis.
