We believe that common sense and awareness of hazards go hand in hand with written policies and procedures.
At the tender stage for each contract, our staff review the methods and procedures required to ensure that the safest and simplest methods are used.
Frequently, access is difficult and hazardous and detailed methods are required for each operation.
We provide method statements, Risk & COSHH assessments and safety inductions all specific to each site.
All our operatives are thoroughly briefed on procedures and methods.
Our Site Managers are trained to CITB 5 day safety managers standard.
Our site workforce all hold CSCS & CPCS cards and are trained in safety boat handling, banksman, slinging and plant operators are CITB trained.
Southbay have a current range of in-house plant and equipment ranging from 80t crawler crane to static concrete pump.
